Fucking knew Gai would return. How many times has he died and gone back to life already? I believe this is his 4th time "coming back to life" with the one fake-out during the laser barrage, incapacitation when Mugi arrives, dying in C's world, and now he's come back only to probably die again, further diminishing any emotion that could be brought through Gai dying.
